Land tax cut by over 90% for some non-commercial organisations

The Moscow authorities intend to cut by 93.4% the land tax for the plots in the city on which private non-profit organisations have established educational, healthcare and social security establishments, as well as plots used for sports facilities. Moscow Mayor Yuri Luzhkov has submitted a relevant bill to amend Article 2 of the Land Tax Law No 74, adopted on November 24, 2004. The amendments to the Moscow land tax law were proposed by the Moscow City Department of Economic Policy and Development.
